I think these numbers are great. I am glad to see the website being used more.

Can you explain 'other sites our size' comment? Is it other schools, or just sites with the same number of pages or ??

For an educational institution to have incorrect grammar in the blog posting title is unexcusable. I am not an in-house employee but an outsider.

Thank you for letting us know. We apologize for the grammatical error and it has been fixed.

Currently, we use two different reporting companies: Google Analytics and Bivio (our website hosting and software company). Because Google Analytics is used by hundreds of thousands of people to report on their website they are able to categorize the sites by size. According to Google Analytics, "sites by size" is "Based on the number of visits each site receives..." "...sites of similar sizes are grouped together under three classifications: small, medium, and large." (http://www.google.com.na/support/googleanalytics/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=90161)

Dear outsider, the word is inexcusable NOT unexcusable. It is ironic that you have made an error while calling another error inexcusable. Perhaps the lesson is that none of us, not even those who work at an educational institution, is infallible. This is a call for civility for all!
