Inventory Hand Receipt for Small Equipment

Dear staff,

DPS inventories our school annually. In our recent inventory several items were not in the building. Small items like laptops, cameras, that may legally not be here at the time of inventory must be documented.

Located on this Staff Information Page under Staff Files under Inventory Check (DPS) is a temporary hand receipt for small equipment. If you have a small item that did not get scanned by Mr. Maes in January, please print out this form, fill it out, scan it, and email it to me. If you do not know how to do this please contact Jan Raymond for instruction.

Thank you,
Connie M. Ross

Human Resources Items

Changes to SEA
(Of Interest to all DPS Employees)

DPS utilizes the Lawson system to perform its Payroll, Human Resources and Benefits functions. As of March 2, 2009, Employee Self Service, Manager Self Service, and Payroll Time Entry have been upgraded and are now accessed via the Lawson Portal rather than SEA.
The above changes will impact managers, secretaries, assistant principals, and principals in the following manner:
Users who have a second login ID (dpssea) for Payroll Time Entry or Manager Self Service will be provided with a new ID.
Manager Self Service and Payroll Time Entry screens have a modern look and feel, with all links on left margin of screen rather than on the top and left margins of the screen.
The above changes will impact all employees in the following manner:
Employee Self Service screens have more modern look and feel, with links on left margin of screen.
The Employee Number (DPS ID) appears in upper right corner of Lawson Portal screen.
End user documentation currently located on the HR Website (http://hr.dpsk12.org/sea/) has been updated to match the new system.
Please forward any and all questions to RPMLawson@dpsk12.org and your questions will be answered promptly.

Employee Number (DPSID) Replaces SSN
(Of Interest to all DPS Employees)

DPS utilizes the Lawson system to perform its Payroll, Human Resources and Benefits functions. As of March 2, 2009, for confidentiality reasons, the Employee Number (DPSID) has replaced the SSN when accessing personal employee information. Your 9-digit Employee Number will be used as the unique identifier in our database system.
The above changes will impact managers, secretaries, assistant principals, and principals in the following manner:
When handling employee inquiries, you should request employees to provide you with their Employee Number or Name, rather than SSN. They can get their Employee Number in Employee Self Service. This is important when collecting extra pay time for In-services, for instance.
Any reports created in SQL Reporting Services or Impromptu that use EMPLOYEE NUM or BADGE NUM as parameters, filters, or report outputs will produce different results if the reports are not updated.
The above changes will impact all employees in the following manner:
For confidentiality reasons, Employee Number (DPS ID) has replaced the SSN when accessing personal employee information.
The Employee Number appears in upper right corner of Lawson Portal screen.
End user documentation currently located on the HR Website (http://hr.dpsk12.org/sea/) has been updated to match the new system
