I trust you had a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday.
The Denver Area Health Care Recruiter Association (DAHCRA) met just prior to the holiday to determine where we would like our annual scholarships to go. After careful review of all eligible health care programs, we decided that we would like to award to Emily Griffith Opportunity School two $500 scholarships; one for a home health aide student and one for a CNA student. We felt that this assistance could help to jumpstart two careers in nursing.
We do have some stipulations. The student must:
Be a citizen of the United States.
Maintain a B-average in all courses.
Have an interest in pursuing Nursing as a career.
