The United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) Website has published an article about Hodan, an orphaned teen from Somalia.
As fate would have it, Hodan is currently a student at EGOS, studying English in the CRESL program. Her story is compelling and it highlights the tragedy--and optimism--of so many displaced people.
When you consider that UNHCR deals with millions of refugees each year, it it somewhat amazing that one they chose to focus on is right here at our school!
