Student Orientations Have Begun

Students are being scheduled to attend an EGOS orientation presented by the Student Success Center staff and to receive their free id’s and email addresses. It is an opportunity for students to become better acquainted with the services that can help them succeed in their courses and to participate in activities that we believe will improve student retention. All students are asked to attend. The school goal is that all students will received an id and email address and that most students will participate in orientation activities.

Many instructors are being notified of a scheduled time for their classes to attend these orientations. Those instructors should send their students to Room 440 at the scheduled time. If a student is absent, he/she may come at the make-up time scheduled for your department. (See schedule below)

If you are not notified of a time for your class, your students may receive their id’s and email addresses at the time scheduled for your department. (See schedule below) Please only send your students at scheduled times to assure that there is someone to help them.

Please remind your students to bring their payment receipt with them. A student number and proof of paid enrollment are necessary to receive an id. A receipt copy may be obtained from the Treasurer’s Office in Room 239.
