Swine Flu

Staff:

While there are no cases of the swine flu reported in Colorado to date, please be advised of the below information distributed by Denver Public Schools.http://communications.dpsk12.org/announcements/information-about-the-flu

Please be aware of and inform your students of the common preventative measures that can help reduce the spread of germs:
* Cover your nose and mouth with a tissue when you cough or sneeze. Throw the tissue in the trash after you use it.
* Wash your hands often with soap and water, especially after you cough or sneeze. Alcohol-based hands cleaners are also effective.
* Avoid touching your eyes, nose or mouth. Germs spread that way.
* If you get sick, the Center for Disease Control recommends that you stay home from work or school and limit contact with others to keep from infecting them.

If you have concerns or questions, please see Dorothy Seal, Dean of Health Sciences.

Thank you.
