Customized Education Services

Emily Griffith was honored Friday evening at St.Cajetan’s by Arapahoe/Douglas Works for partnering this year with them and the Community College of Denver on their Hospitality Institute Program. Chef Tim, Chef Kristi, Michael Kessler and Connie Burke were each awarded a plaque for their participation in this program. They had students for two days here at our school learning the basics of cooking along with cake decorating and flower arranging. The students designed the theme for the evening (Asian), planned the menu, and decorated the hall. This was the second year that our school has been asked to participate in this program through our Corporate Training Department. Kudos to Chef Tim, Chef Kristi and Michael for all their efforts and hard work.

Denver Health had a graduation ceremony on Thursday, June 12th, for their employees who completed our on-site Certified Nursing Assistant Program through the Corporate Training Division of our school. They graduated 13 students and approximately 20 administrators from the hospital were in attendance. They were so pleased by the instructor, Terri Mc Daniel, that they have scheduled another class beginning September 2nd and running through the end of November. A big “thank you” goes to both Terri and Janet Holdsworth who assisted Terri with clinicals. The instructors are the ones that make these classes run so well.
