Early Notification of Retirement Stipend(Of Interest to all Educators)



Any teacher or principal who is eligible for retirement and submits a retirement request effective the end of the school year for action by the Board at its April legislative meeting are eligible for a severance pay stipend of $1,200 payable at the time of retirement. The employee may not rescind his/her retirement after the date of request and requests must be received by February 1. Eligible retiring employees can fax the appropriate application, either the Teacher Early Notification Stipend Application or the Administrator Early Notification Stipend Application to the Benefits Department at 720-423-3924.
