Graduation is just around the corner. Since job placement is very important to Opportunity School, we want our graduates to possess all of the skills necessary to compete in the labor market. The Career Development Center, Success Center, and the Instructional Resource Center (IRC) staff members are offering some workshops that will provide our graduates with the skills they need to attain employment. JoAn Keeler assisted in the development of the workshop materials. Please encourage your graduates to attend both workshops.
Ace the Interview Workshops will be offered three more times in the next few weeks:
May 27, 2009 1-2 pm Glenarm Building
June 3, 2009 9-10 pm Glenarrm Building
June 10, 2009 1-2 pm Glenarm Building
Please ask your graduates to call Tandy Reyes at 720-423-4781 or contact her at cdc@dpsk12.org to register for the workshops. If all of your class members are interested, we are willing to schedule special presentations of either workshop in your classrooms.
